What is your fantasy origin? (The first fantasy you read)

I think it’s The jungle book. I love Mowgli!

If you could be the hero/heroine in a fantasy novel, who would be the author and what’s one troupe you’d insist be in the story?

This is a very interesting question. I have a quite a lot of authors name in my mind, maybe Leigh Bardugo. I will definitely insist on friends to lovers troupe!

What is a fantasy series you’ve read this year, that you want more people to read?

That will definitely be The Harwood spellbook series. I can just do a separate post just to talk about this series, it is actually a duology.

What is your favorite fantasy sub genre?

Without a doubt, it will be romance, mystery and if it has some royal politics, I will be in heaven.

What sub genre have you not read much from?

I think it will be dark fantasy. I don’t know why but I haven’t really read anything in it. Do recommend me some, I will read them.

Who is one of your auto-by fantasy author?

I love almost all fantasy authors, but if I must choose then it will be Leigh Bardugo, C L Polk.

How do you typically find fantasy recommendations?

I usually find through blogs, articles and social media. In fact sometimes when I’m in the mood to read certain genre I check out book riot website.

What is an upcoming fantasy release that you’re excited for?

I was more excited for Rule of wolves, Soulstar but they both got released. So I just have to sit and read them.

What is one misconception about fantasy that you’d like to lay to rest?

Many people have said to me, why am I reading fantasy because it is not practical. But I read them only to escape reality. It gives me wild imagination where there are so many good things. I read non fiction too but fantasy have my heart.

If someone had never read a fantasy before and the first 3 books that come to start, what would be the recommendations be?

I will suggest to read The graveyard book by Neil gaiman, Coraline, and I couldn’t think of anything right now. It’s actually pretty hard to recommend something on spot, without looking at my reading journal.

Who is the most recent fantasy reading content creator you came across and would like to give shout-out?

There are so many book bloggers I follow and they all have some amazing recommendations to give. I don’t think I can just pin point some people.
