The poor and the middle class work for money. The rich have money work for them
Rich dad poor dad, Robert Kiyosaki
What is this book about:
One of the most important lesson everyone must know is managing their personal finance, yet there are not many people talking about it. This book is basically a classic regarding personal finance, it bursts the myths, gives you a clear idea about what makes a rich, rich.
It also teaches you the difference between asset and liability, being open minded, looking for opportunities in the least expected place.
To put it short, the author explains the above quote with lots of examples and why he says this.
What I loved in this book:
I loved how it was very applicable even after 20 years. All the 9 chapters explained one or more concepts elaborately without any complicated terminology.
I think one of the great ability of the author is that he can explain complicated stuffs with simple examples and diagrams. I especially loved all his simple drawings about cash flow, assets and liability.
I have to be honest here, I have never actually did any thinking about my investments. My friend literally forced me to pick this book, I’m quite grateful to him.
Now at least I have an understanding about how cash flow works and how to keep on going.
I will highly suggest this book to all the people, if you want to learn more about personal finance.
