One last stop-Book review

Author: Casey McQuiston.

Published: June 2021.

Genre: Sci-fi, Romance, LGBTQ+.

Blurb:

August moves to New York in the hopes of finally finding a place where she belongs. Her new roommates are weird but one of the most lovely people she has ever met. When she step into Q in the subway, she never knew her life would quite literally change. She never knew that this weird, punk, Short-haired beauty she met in the subway will become something more in her life.

Jane, a ghost in the Q train. A girl who has lost herself in time. When she met August, she knew something was wrong with her as she always stays on the Q train. A 70’s punk and a girl who has questionable habits together solve some mystery that surrounds Jane Su.

But, you know, that feeling? When you wake up in the morning and you have somebody to think about? Somewhere for hope to go? It’s good. Even when it’s bad, it’s good.

Casey McQuiston, One last stop.

My Thoughts:

I just finished this book, and I don’t want to miss anything so I’m writing all my thoughts down here. Basically, I’m writing a rant.

This is my first time trying the Sci-fi genre, but I’m happy that this is the book I chose. There aren’t any complicated terms and even more complicated theories here.

Good plot? Check.

Great Characters? Check.

A hot passionate romance? Check.

A happy ending with a great message? Check.

This just means this book goes to my great books list. If a book doesn’t have a good plot or character development then I will definitely DNF it. I had this weird otherworldly experience while reading this book. Usually, all the books give the same vibe but I loved some magical passionate, hot love stories about two girls lost in different ways but becoming each other’s anchors.

If you love reading about girls with complicated pasts coming together and add in a bit of spicy romance, great friends who are family then definitely go for this book.
